Joseph Paterniti and Associates are Business Law Accountants specialising in accounting and taxation preparation and advice. We are a respected business which has operated in the beach side city of Rockingham since June 1994. Our affiliation with Munro's Certifed Practicing Accountants (Northbridge & Rockingham) dates back to May 1984 and prior to that with Alan Prince and Associates of Wanliss street Rockingham.

So great is this respect that most of our clients we have retained from the start and who in turn have introduced their children and other extended family members.

 

The growth of the practice has allowed us to provide taxation advice in superannuation.

Joseph Paterniti is a provisional member of the Australian Institute of Business Law Accountants (AIBLA)(1987), a Fellow of the Association of Taxation and Management Accountants (FTMA)(1999), A Fellow Member (FIPA) of the Institute of Public Accountants since 2007 promoted to Fellow in 2019, and Member of the Institute of Financial Professionals Aus. formerly, Taxpayers Australia Practioners and Advisers (FTPA-Tax)(2013). Over the many years we have developed a professional yet friendly service delivery for our approixmate 600 clientele spread throughout the State, Nationally and Internationally.

 

Joseph has the ability to explain the law in laymans terms.

 

Our staff have a wealth of real-world experience and are constanly developing their tax and business knowledge via Continued Professional Development (C.P.D).

Pamela; has a qualification in Arts with many years of business reception and administration experience. After 19 years of loyal service Pamela Jane retired on 28/10/2022 and remains a part of the JPA family.

 

 

Toni: has many years of account experience with a large credit organisation.  She acts as a director & company secretary of a private trading company in the personal & business service sector, and is a joint trustee of her own superannuation fund. Toni assists in administration of the business.  She has recently been taught by Pamela Jane to assume her role on her departure.

 

Roxanne; After many years as Accountants Assistant, Roxanne resigned on 28/10/2022.

 

Eleanor: is an Accounting Graduate of Murdoch University. Eleanor joined our team in the 2013/14 financial year.  She brings a fresh and new approach while working closely with Joseph to provide clients with a high quality service. As per our JPA Memory Vault, Eleanor left in October 2018 for experience in Commercial Accounting, to raise her young family and start a family business.

 

Kristy; is qualified with a Certificate 4 in Accounting and Bookkeeping. She also joined the practice in 2013/14 and will be promoted to Office Manager as of January 2023. Kristy has previous experience in office administration and under the guidance of Joseph is now a Qualified Senior Tax Preparer.

Maria Fernanda Castillo Navas;  Is also a graduate of Murdoch University in the discipline of Human Resources and Marketing.  "Marfae" joined us in November 2018 to replace Eleanor.  She took maternity leave in early October 2022 and gave birth to Luna Ciara Paterniti, thereby making Joseph a very proud "Nonno Pippo".

 

Joseph; is a qualified Accountant and Tax Agent with a Double Major Degree in Business Law with Accounting (W.A.I.T/CURTIN-1985). In 2008 he also completed a Diploma of Financial Services.  In 2019 Joseph joined the Board of S.C.A.L.E.S Rockingham and Peel, as Honorary Treasurer to further the mission of bringing Legal Education, Knowledge and Support to the Vulnerable and Low Socio-Economic Citizens.     Just recently Joseph resigned as Honorary Treasurer from the Board of The Lucy Saw Centre for Domestic Violence against Women.  Due to family and Practice commitments.
